This acts as the proof of vaccination, complete with dates of vaccinations. They must:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> -Be current with the FVRCP (3 in 1) vaccine As recommended by your veterinarian. \u00a0<u>This vaccination is necessary to protect the cats from airborne infections.\u00a0<\/u><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> -Be Current with a FeLV (Leukemia) and Rabies vaccines as <b>recommended by your veterinarian. \u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ALL VACCINES ARE TO BE DONE AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO BOARDING\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><u>All cats must be on a veterinarian recommended flea prevention product at least one week prior to boarding.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Will my cat be mixed in with other cats?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) No. Only cats from the same household share a room.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Does The Cat Cottage\u00a0board other animals such as dogs, rabbits, lizards?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) No. We love all animals, but only board domestic\u00a0felines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Do larger rooms cost more money than the regular size rooms?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) All rooms are the same rate. We do not want our clients feeling uncomfortable about placing a value on their cat.\u00a0We assign rooms based on your cat&#8217;s needs. All rooms will accommodate two or more cat guests from the same household. If two adjoining rooms are requested\/needed, the rate will vary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) What do you provide for each room?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) Each room is properly\u00a0heated and\u00a0ventilated. Each room has a lounging ledge in a window which opens\/closes. We also equip each room with litter boxes, litter, beds, bedding, benches, baskets, blankets, music, toys, dry food, treats, climbing posts, and catnip (if permitted).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) How often are litter boxes scooped?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) At least twice per day but more if necessary. Some cats require this more often\u00a0if they are seniors, diabetics, or have certain other conditions. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) What do we need to bring?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) The only thing you\u00a0<em>need\u00a0<\/em>to bring\u00a0is your\u00a0cat in a carrier (and its medication, if\u00a0necessary). You are welcome to\u00a0bring personal food, treats, toys, blankets, or anything else you feel might make your cat feel more comfortable.\u00a0<em>We are not responsible for anything you forget to take home.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) How can I pay for my cat&#8217;s stay?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) We\u00a0accept Interac, Visa, MasterCard,\u00a0cheques, and cash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) What if I need to cancel or change my stay?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) We will provide a refund of your deposit if you cancel ten or more days before your check-in date. Cancellations made with less than ten days\u2019 notice will not be refunded. Please call or email us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) My cat requires medication. Will there be an extra charge for administering this?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) If your cat requires injections or oral or topical medication there is a $5.00 fee\u00a0for each time the medication\u00a0is administered. For example, if they require medication \u00a0in the morning and evening, that is 2 x $5 = $10 per day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) I don&#8217;t want to change my cat&#8217;s diet. Will you feed her as I do?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) Yes, we follow a care plan provided by you in the Boarding Agreement.\u00a0While we can provide a variety of healthy canned food,\u00a0dry food, and treats free of charge, you are welcome to bring your own if you would prefer not to change your cat&#8217;s diet. (It is generally recommended to not rapidly change your pet\u2019s food as it may upset their stomach.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Do you give a discount to someone who brings their cat&#8217;s food?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) We don&#8217;t charge extra to serve special diets to our feline guests, nor do\u00a0we offer a discount to those who bring their\u00a0own food.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Can we come visit our cat?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) Yes, however we require a visitor&#8217;s appointment.\u00a0<em><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/catcottage.ca\/?page_id=25\">Call or\u00a0e-mail<\/a><\/em> us and we can arrange a\u00a0mutually convenient time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Q) Can my friend\/relative pick up my cat?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A) Yes,\u00a0but please <em><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/catcottage.ca\/?page_id=25\">phone or email<\/a><\/em> permission.
