Boarding Requirements

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

Please complete the Boarding Agreement prior to check in.

Your pet’s comfort and safety are our main concerns.  As such, there are a few necessary precautions we must take to ensure the health and well-being of all of our feline guests.

All cats must have current vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian.  This should include but not be limited to a FVRCP vaccination (a combination of ‘distemper’ and upper respiratory viruses).  All vaccines are to be done at least two weeks before boarding.

All cats must have a flea control remedy at least one week prior to their stay.  As recommended by your veterinarian.

Regular deworming is recommended for cats that go outdoors.  Please discuss this with your veterinarian.  Deworming medication must be done at least one week before boarding.

If your cat requires medication or a special diet, please ensure that you bring enough for the entire stay.  ALL MEDICATION MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE WITH DIRECTIONS FROM YOUR VETERINARIAN

The name and phone number of your cat’s veterinarian and an emergency contact name or phone number should be provided.  In the event that the Cat Cottage cannot reach either one, any required emergency treatment will be provided by a veterinarian of the Cat Cottage’s choosing.
